Giant Halloween Skeleton Turned Holiday Favourite Gets Big Smiles from Local Residents

A giant 13’ tall skeleton is grabbing a lot of attention in Mount Albert and both kids and adults alike are loving it.

Nicknamed ‘Napoleon BoneApart’ by proud owners Cristin and Leo Gray, this handsome fellow is a strange beacon of light in an otherwise stressful time.

“I’m so surprised by the positive feedback and attention that we’ve had from this, it’s so great,” Cristin says.

“My husband and I have always LOVED Halloween and all things spooky. We go all out for Halloween every year and are always looking for things to add to our collection. This past year we found the 13 foot skeleton on Home Depot’s website but it was sold out instantly. After a lot of research and driving we managed to find the last display model in Ontario (in Ajax) and drove out to pick it up. It’s been a tough year for everyone and we hoped by putting him up for the different holidays it could make people smile. So far we’ve just done Halloween, Valentine’s Day and now St. Patty’s Day. We are currently working on a very, very large bunny costume.”

Cristin and Leo went one step further and invited people to drop by their front yard on Mount Albert Road, take a selfie with Napoleon (tag him on Instagram), and leave a donation for the Mount Albert Food Pantry in the bin they provided.

And as popular as he has become, things haven’t been all smiles and giggles for Mr. BoneApart.
